Together with several Development finance institutions (EIB, KfW, FMO, AFD, IFC, CDC), Horus created Advans, a network of financial institutions in developing and emerging countries (Asia & Africa) offering financial services to micro, small and medium sized enterprises (MSMEs).

About the Job:
In the context of Advans group's dynamic development, Advans is recruiting top Managers who are highly motivated to participate in economic and social development, and to quickly evolve to top management positions: Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer or Credit Manager.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

    * After a training period within one Advans institution, responsible for the expansion of a fast-growing institution (network extension, launch of new products);
    * Achievement of outreach and financial sustainability targets set by the Board of Directors, secure adequate funding while maintaining a robust risk management system;
    * Overall supervision of the institution, management of the operations;
    * Maintain good relationships with local partners and authorities.

Qualifications:

    * Fluency in English;
    * 5 to 10 years of working experience in high level management positions, if possible in a financial institution (retail banking or microfinance);
    * Working experience in a developing country;
    * Successful professional experience in the management of a commercial venture;
    * Successful professional experience in team’s supervision and structure;
    * Proven ability in project planning and organization;
    * Excellent entrepreneurial, leadership, communication skills;
    * Rigorous, result oriented;
    * Excellent interpersonal and conflict management skills.
